I know I need help when it comes to brand communications, but I have no idea where to start. Can you help? 

Absolutely! On our initial discovery call, we’ll dig into your challenges and goals. From there, I’ll come up with a customized—and realistic—plan of action to help you get the most out of my offerings and skillset within your budget and on your timeline.

Do you offer social media and/or website management?

While I’m happy to help create the strategies that drive what you post on social media or inform how you structure your website—I do not offer social media management or website management. I find my skills—and your budget—go the furthest when I’m able to work on the strategy and content-development side of things, as opposed to getting in the weeds with scheduling posts, replying to comments, or managing day-to-day website needs.

What type of industries do you typically work for?

I pride myself on being incredibly versatile—I love working with anyone with a message worth sharing! I’ve provided everything from graphic design to brand strategy for several nonprofits across a wide array of industries (environmental, arts-and-culture, social services)—and I also contract directly with creative agencies with a dynamic range of clients as well. If the work is purpose-driven and for good people, it’s right up my alley.

What are your rates?

Every project is distinct, and the strategies and content plans I create are completely custom—so it’s difficult to give a set price-point without first hopping on a call to learn more about your project. That said, retainer clients spend $1,500-$5,000 per month on average—whereas smaller one-off projects typically begin at $500. (My hourly rate for agencies is $120).

What’s the difference between brand strategy, content strategy, and content creation?

Great question! Brand strategy is where we’ll lay the foundation for how your brand shows up in the world—this includes discovering and distilling your “why”, as well as developing your visual story, brand values, and overall vibe. Content strategy is all about coming up with a clear, realistic plan for using content to help you achieve your goals—this tackles the messages you should be communicating and where, how, and to whom. Content development is where we actually produce the content your content strategy requires (i.e. writing blog posts, creating social media content, producing videos, writing digital ads, etc.).
